Calcium hydroxide is an alkaline substance that can undergo neutralization reactions with these acidic substances, generating corresponding calcium salts and water, thereby reducing the acidity of lubricating oil.Calcium hydroxide has a high alkalinity, and adding it to lubricating oil can increase its alkali value reserve. As alkaline substances are consumed during the use of lubricating oil, calcium hydroxide can gradually release hydroxide ions to maintain the alkaline value of the lubricating oil.Improve the acid resistance and long-term acid-base balance regulation ability of lubricating oil.
