Calcium Oxide (CaO), commonly referred to as quick lime , is an extensively utilized chemical compound across various industries.  As an important basic chemical raw material, its core characteristic is that it reacts violently with water to form calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂) and releases a large amount of heat.Calcium oxide is usually produced by the decomposition of high-quality limestone (mainly composed of calcium carbonate, CaCO₃) through high-temperature calcination, that is, CaCO₃ → CaO + CO₂↑.

 This product is a high-purity calcium oxide (CaO) customized for calcium fatty acid preparation, also known as quicklime. It is a   cost-effective and high-quality calcium source for industrial and laboratory synthesis of calcium fatty acid, suitable for the   preparation of calcium salts of various fatty acids such as stearic acid, palmitic acid, and oleic acid. Through the indirect   hydration-saponification process, it can be efficiently converted into calcium fatty acid products without residual harmful   impurities, and is widely used in the large-scale production of calcium fatty acid in fields such as plastic and rubber additives,   feed additives, and coating dispersants.

 

The product appears as white or grayish-white lumps or powder (particle size can be customized on demand), with good hydration activity. It reacts with water to release heat evenly and stably generate calcium hydroxide, providing sufficient Ca⊃2;+ for the subsequent neutralization and saponification of fatty acids. It balances reaction efficiency and product purity, and is a cost-effective alternative to soluble calcium salts (calcium chloride, calcium nitrate).
