Slaked lime, chemically known as calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂), is a white powdery inorganic compound. It is produced by the "slaking" reaction of quicklime (calcium oxide) with water, a process that releases heat and significantly enhances its chemical reactivity. Our slaked lime boasts a purity of over 95%, with extremely low impurity levels and fine, uniform particles. Widely applicable in various industries including industrial, agricultural, and environmental sectors, it stands as a reliable alkaline inorganic material.

Production Methods

Slaked lime is primarily produced through the "slaking reaction" of quicklime (calcium oxide, CaO) with water. First, natural limestone (mainly composed of calcium carbonate, CaCO₃) is calcined at high temperatures (approximately 900 - 1100°C), causing it to decompose into quicklime and carbon dioxide. The generated quicklime is then mixed with water in a specific ratio, triggering a vigorous exothermic reaction, CaO + H₂O = Ca(OH)₂, and finally yielding slaked lime.
